The rules for using aosportinggoods.com and ordering from AO Sporting Goods. Read them before you check out.

About these terms
AO Sporting Goods is run by Adequate Opportunity LLC, 5706 Turney Rd Ste 202-1085, Garfield Heights, OH 44125 (“AO Sporting Goods,” “we,” “us” or “our”). This agreement (the “Terms”) covers every visit to aosportinggoods.com(the “Site”) and every order placed on it.
Using the Site or placing an order is your acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, stop using the Site.
Age and eligibility
To order, you need to be 18 or older (older still if your state sets a higher age of adulthood). For anyone younger, a parent or guardian places the order and accepts these Terms. Our customers buy for their own personal use, and we deliver only within the contiguous United States. Orders that look like they are meant for resale may be refused or cancelled.
What we sell and how we describe it
Every product page lists the size, weight, materials and box contents as accurately as we can state them. The photos are digital renders of our products, so colors, finishes and proportions on your screen can look a little different from the item itself. When a photo and the written specification disagree, the specification is what ships.
Our range changes: any product can be updated, reworked or discontinued whenever we decide, and stock is limited to what we have on hand. A kit is one product with one price.
Prices
We list every price in U.S. dollars. Your order is charged at the cart prices showing when you place it. Any sales tax that applies appears at checkout before you pay.
Errors in prices or product details can slip through despite our checks. When one does, we may cancel orders for the affected product, including orders already placed, and any payment taken for a cancelled order comes back to your original payment method in full.
Placing an order
Your order is an offer to purchase the contents of your cart. A confirmation email tells you the order reached us; we accept it only when it leaves the warehouse. Before that point we may refuse or cancel it, or cap quantities, because of stock, suspected fraud, an address outside our delivery area or a mistake on the Site. A cancelled order that was already charged is refunded in full.
Each checkout is a single payment for that order. We run no subscriptions or memberships, and no card stays on file.
Need to change or cancel? Email support@aosportinggoods.com with the order number right away. Changes and cancellations are possible up to the moment the order leaves the warehouse; after that, our Returns Policy applies.
Payment
Visa and Mastercard accepted. There is one charge per order, for the total at checkout, taken when you place it. Submitting a payment confirms that you are allowed to use that card.
Woosa Payments (Woosa B.V., KvK 71751513, Zwolle, the Netherlands) processes our payments in partnership with Adyen N.V., a firm licensed and supervised by De Nederlandsche Bank. Card details are not kept on our side once an order is paid. Payment data serves three purposes: completing the payment, preventing fraud and meeting legal obligations. How it is shared is set out in our Privacy Policy.
See a charge from us you do not recognize? Email support@aosportinggoods.com or call 1 (877) 200-3903 first, before you dispute it with your card issuer, so we can sort it out with you.
Getting your order to you
There is no charge for standard shipping anywhere in the contiguous United States. Orders are boxed up and out the door within 2 business days, travel by USPS or UPS, and take 3 to 7 business days to arrive. Our delivery area is the contiguous United States: the 48 contiguous states plus the District of Columbia. There is no delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses or anywhere outside the United States.
Arrival dates are estimates from the carrier and can move. Ownership of the items, and the risk of loss, pass to you once the carrier delivers to the address you gave us. Our Shipping Policy covers the rest, including damaged and missing packages.
Sending items back
Returns are open for 30 days after delivery on anything unused and in the original packaging. Get a return authorization and our return address from support@aosportinggoods.com before anything ships. The customer covers return postage. Once the return is in our hands, we credit the original payment method within 5 business days.
A kit comes back as one full set, with everything that shipped in it and all of it unused and in the original packaging, and we refund what you paid for the kit. We do not take back part of a kit. If one item in a kit arrives damaged or defective, or is the wrong item, that item is handled as a problem on arrival instead.
Used items, and items without their original packaging, are not accepted back. Our Returns Policy sets out the full process and forms part of these Terms.
Gear, sport and risk
Sport and training are physical, and injury is always possible. When you buy and use our gear, how it is used is your responsibility. Specifically:
- Use equipment as intended. Stick to the sport or activity each product is made for, and read the instructions and warnings packed with it, including the inflation range listed for each ball and the setup steps for hoops and goals.
- Supervise children.Children should use sports equipment only with an adult supervising. Choose sizes suited to the player’s age and size, and keep small parts, needles and packaging away from young children.
- Inspect before each use. Check equipment for wear, cracks, tears, loose parts or damage before every use. Stop using any item that is damaged or not working as it should.
- Use the right setting and protection. Play in a safe space with enough room, on a suitable surface, and wear protective equipment appropriate to the activity. Protective items such as shin guards do not remove the risk of injury.
- Do not modify products. Do not alter, repair or use a product in a way it was not designed for.
The Site does not give coaching, medical or fitness advice. Ask a qualified professional if you are unsure whether an activity suits you or your child.
Rules for using the Site
On the Site, you will not:
- break the law through it, or use it to put through fraudulent orders;
- copy its content or data in bulk with scraping software unless we have agreed in writing;
- disrupt how it runs, weaken its security, or reach for systems or data you have no permission to access;
- upload or send malware, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
We may suspend or block access for anyone who ignores these rules.
Intellectual property
Everything on the Site, from the text, product renders and graphics to the AO Sporting Goods name, logo and page design, belongs to Adequate Opportunity LLC, and intellectual property law protects it. Viewing and printing pages for your own personal, non-commercial use is fine. Anything beyond that needs our permission in writing.
No warranties
The Site and its content come “as is” and “as available,” to the fullest extent the law allows. Apart from what these Terms say expressly, and any warranty the law does not let us exclude, we give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the Site or the products sold on it. That covers implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
In a state that does not permit implied warranties to be excluded, parts of this section may not apply to you, and state law may give you further rights.
Limits on our liability
Where the law permits, Adequate Opportunity LLC, and its members, managers, employees and suppliers, carry no liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, resulting from use of the Site or of a product bought from us, even if warned that such damages were possible.
Where the law permits, our liability for a claim tied to an order or the Site is capped at the price you paid for the product involved.
These limits do not reach any liability the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud, or for injury or death due to our negligence.
Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Adequate Opportunity LLC and its members, managers and employees against claims, losses and expenses, reasonable legal fees included, that result from a breach of these Terms by you, or from misuse of the Site or of any product, to the extent the law permits.
Disputes
Talk to us first. Before anything formal, write to support@aosportinggoods.com describing the problem and the outcome you want, then allow 30 days for us to work it out with you.
Arbitration. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and we agree that any dispute or claim relating to these Terms, the Site or any purchase will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Either side may still take an individual claim that qualifies to small claims court instead. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section.
No class actions. You and we agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding.
Governing law
Ohio law and applicable federal law govern these Terms and any dispute about them, the Site or a purchase, without applying conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the Disputes section above, you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Ohio.
When these Terms change
Revised Terms are posted on this page and take effect when posted. Each order stays under the Terms that were live on the Site the day it was placed.
Other terms
These Terms, with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns Policy, are the complete set of terms between you and us for the Site and anything you buy on it. Should a court find any part of these Terms unenforceable, every other part still applies. Letting a term go unenforced does not waive it. Your rights under these Terms cannot be transferred without our written consent; ours may pass to a successor if our business is sold or reorganized.
